Basically Borderlands is a FPS-RPG hybrid coming out on the 26th for PC and is already out for the consoles.
The game features online coop up to 4 players who can drop in and out at any time and with the procedurally generated weapons you'll be constantly swapping weapons out.

So really I want to ask is if anyone is gonna get this? I'm getting it on PC myself and can't wait to go from start to finish with 3 friends. It looks like it'll be very fun and long lasting, compared to other releases this year.

I've put more than 40 hours into this game and haven't even beaten it yet because there's so much to do in a coop party. Enemies respawn, even bosses, so we can take the time to either kill enemies or explore the land.

Everyone I know loves this game. If I had the money I'd be playing it right now. Maybe in a few weeks...
So what, I'm a Star Wars geek?!?

Not so big on the ending but the 2nd playthrough with that character leveled up all of the enemies in the game, with even better loot. The game has the MMO way of addicting you, with all of the loot and leveling, I didn't mind much that there was little to no interaction with NPCs besides getting a quest or being told where to go next.

I was very disappointed with this game, to be honest. I love the graphical style, but other than that, this game is average at best, and very repetitive.

Even the guns, the selling point of the game, of which there were supposedly going to millions upon millions, are nothing special because only so few about them is changed in order to make them all "unique" from one another.

Yea, my friends have told me about the same thing that Hobbs just said. I'll rent it later, but right now I really want Dragon Age. People say its sort of like KOTOR. And that is always good.
