Hey, all! You might've noticed that the forums have been looking a little different lately. This is because we've decided to do a bit of a revamp, reducing the number of forums that exist in hopes of concentrating conversation into more general categories. Previously there were so many forums that a lot of them went completely unused; these unnecessary forums have been merged into more actively-used ones. I can't really take credit for this idea; The Grenadier came up with the original idea, and has been invaluable in the transition process. Here's a brief overview of the current forum layout. SD Symposium This forum will be used as a combination of all the previous site-related forums. It'll be used for news and updates, and members are free to post here as well if they have any site-related issues they'd like to bring up. I'd also like to note that the Introductions and Birthday forums have been replaced by threads in this forum. Video Games Any video game or console-related discussion goes here. This is a combination of the previous "Existing Games", "Upcoming Releases", "High Charity", and "Tips and Tricks" forums. The Scrapbook This is for any drawings, images, stories, poems, recordings, etc. that our members would like to show off. Off-Topic Anything that doesn't fit into the above categories goes here. It also contains the RPGs subforum. Quarantine Zone It just wouldn't be SD anymore if we got rid of QZ.  This is for random/game threads, and testing out site features. Posts in this forum won't increase your post count, so double post/spam as much as you like. You can even post here without being logged into you SD account.You'll also notice that older threads appear to be missing. No threads have actually been deleted. Sounds like a good idea, I think newer members were feeling a little overwhelmed by how many forums we had before |

I think we have a good number right now, if we add some more the site will be too big and it'll be hard to find things. |

I agree, a pretty cool guy. We should have only as many forums as is completely necessary, we don't want new members and guests to get confused or overwhelmed. |

MC, there just wasn't enough activity to keep all the forums we had; there were several that hadn't been posted in even once in over a year. It made sense to condense the forums; we can start adding more once the site's more popular, but for now I think the current number is fine. |
