I thought this might spark up some discussion. If you could make your own map for Halo 3, what sort of things would it contain? Would it be symmetrical or asymmetrical? What sort of lighting/scene would you use? What sort of special objects would it contain? What would the default weapons/vehicles be? Personally, I'd like to see more maps that take place on ships, or in space. Too bad there's no flashlights in multiplayer, a pitch black map with only flashlights would be very cool. What do you guys think? |

Halo 3 needs more asymetrical maps like Terminal, Headlong, Relic, ect. I think that the switch-operated gate in Zanibar is a great idea and would like to see more maps utilize base defense-like things. Personally, I would like a map like Headlong: Its large enough so that there can be some epic vehicular mayham, but there is enough cover and pathways to allow for effective infantry fighting. Plus, it had the Guass Hog. |

It would a Air Combat based map with AA guns and stuff. Weapons, shields and armor would be balanced to provide for equal ability to destroy one another in the air. It could range from death match to team death match and to even capture the flag where there could be Gas Collecting platforms in the sky like the Research Station the Arbiter traveled to when you first played as him in Halo 2 but more like Bespin from Star Wars where each platform is small and separated but has a singular AA Gun on it. It could even be one large platform with massive moving space in a spherical shape map boundary around the hovering platform for Aircraft combat. Thats just me though... |

I would love to see some sort of reincarnation of the map from Halo: CE that took place on the ship in outer space. I forgot the name of it, but I like the concept of the two separate, open sides with a big gap in the middle. |

Back when they were announcing the Mythic Maps, the codename for Orbital was Moonbase Alpha. I was really hoping it was gonna be on the moon. Like that one level in SW: Battlefront 2 were you go from bases to vehicular combat on the moon. |

Definately not a fan of that map. Too damn confusing. Headlong is my favorite map of all time, so maybe something like that would work. It would need a new defensive base, of course, because the current one is kind of bad. The rest of the map is pretty awesome though. Would have liked a slightly bigger courtyard for more vehicular combat. I think that the base needs some work. It only had 2 entrances (bottom and top) and so it made defending a lot easier than it should have been. |

to me, I want a Blood Gulch/Valhalla type of map, but instead of forerunner structures or being on Halo/Ark, I want to see a base designed for the UNSC and the other for the convenant. |

Headlong was in Halo 2 ![]() An indoor map like Ivory Tower would be great for matches in Halo 3, except have it partially destroyed instead of it being in the peak condition it was in, with holes leading to newer sections, debris blocking off certain paths, and a great view of the partially destroyed city outside. |

Honestly if you ask me, combine all the maps in every Halo game and turn it all into one big multiplayer map thats meant for "multiplayer campaign" like Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory or Battlefield: Bad Company's "Gold Rush" multiplayer mode. Wouldn't it be awesome to be in Elongation and then once you complete a task, the ship starts to go off course and the ship gets hit by a random unidentified flying object in space and then you end up falling in those same holes that all those crates go down (you died if you fell down those holes) and then you would all of a sudden end up on Midship? Think about all the possibilities Bungie could have thrown on the table. Almost like one big MMO but it's one big multiplayer campaign. Anyone get the idea or are you guys confused hahahahaha?
